The Dell Inspiron series has been the mainstay of the company's line-up for quite some time now. Well, it's high time for a update, I think. Dell has just announced that their Inspiron 14z 14-inch consumer laptop is undergoing a renovation for a better chassis,a better CPU, and several USB 3. 0 ports.
Packing either an Intel Core i3-2330M or i5-2410M CPUs with integrated Intel HD 3000 series graphics, you can also up its memory to 8GB RAM, and either have a 640 or 750GB HD with Win 7 Home Premium. It even manages to stick in a built-in DVD burner.
All in all, it's a pretty complete package. You can get the base configuration for $599.99. The more high-end upgrades will cost extra.
