NEC's Little Netbooks Packs A Lot In A Small Package

Here's something leftover from last week's CES: NEC showed off a 7-inch netbook powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip. Running on Android OS, it had a  a full QWERTY keyboard that included special keys for Android functions such as Home, Back, and Menu. If that wasn't enough, the screen was also touch-capable.

Never mind the cramped keyboard, this prototype looks pretty cool and the Tegra 2 chipset makes it all pretty fast. Weighing in at 1.3 pounds, it can probably fit in a coat pocket. No word yet if this will ever be released or end up just a fancy prototype, but one can always hope.
