Reports had it that Asus is sending out invites for an event which is going to happen this coming Wednesday. And while Asus may have highlighted its future tablet products during CES, the event this Wednesday seems to have nothing to do with any of those previously announced tablets.
Instead, those who've received the invites says that the event will be for the announcement of a new Eee PC netbook. And this netbook is dubbed something like "Sirocco." No other information about it was given though. Well, except for some hints such as the invite's background image looking like a textured image. This led some people to speculate that the Eee PC Sirocco might feature a textured or patterned design that resembles a wave.
Speaking of waves, the invitation also has a tagline that states – Eee PC Sirocco, Making Waves.
So, from Eee PC Seashell to Eee PC Sirocco that will make waves? Sounds like a logical step towards the new generation of Eee PC netbooks, right?
