MSI may not be the leader when it comes to cutting-edge stuff, but it does know how to make a prootype. This CES, they showed off something fancy, a prototype for a projector PC, a computer that would be able to project image on any surface. Well, it never became a reality but it seems that the folks at MSI decided to try the idea out for tablets.
Looking like MSI's popular WindPad, the prototype integrates a projector with the tablet. It looks a bit awkward, but the final result held some promise. Able to project on a screen before it or down on a tabletop, MSI reps suggested the use of a virtual keyboard to provide an additional interface for the product.
No one has an idea if the idea will ever become commercial, but the prototype makes for an interesting conversation piece.
