Since, pretty much all the netbook manufacturers have announced their respective Android tablets at CES 2011, MSI will not let the event pass without announcing something. And so they did. MSI has officially launched the new WindPad 100A and WindPad 100W.
Of course their respective names say what these two tablet PCs will be running on for OS. The MSI WindPad 100A Tablet has Android, probably Honeycomb as well. In addition to the Android OS, this MSI tablet PC will also feature a 10.1-inch multi-touch display, ARM processor, digital compass, aGPS, Wi-Fi, and optional 3G module. Design-wise it will be lightweight at only 1.6 lbs and half an inch thick. Said tablet will run for 8 hours.
The MSI WindPad 100W as you might have guess by now runs Windows 7 Home Premium. It will sport a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen, Intel Menlow Z530 processor and 32GB SSD. MSI WindPad 100W will have a price tag of $499 and will be available during Q1 2011.
