Samsung NF netbooks to come with new design, dual core Atom N550

Up until now, it wasn't sure when and how exactly Samsung plans to launch its first dual core Atom N550-wielding netbook. But apparently, they will be including this new chip from Intel in their new NF series netbooks, which incidentally, also take the company in a new netbook design direction. The Samsung NF netbooks have a curvey new design that starts thick at the back part and finishes thin towards the front. It's not guaranteed to be liked by everyone who will see it, but at least the netbooks look different.

The Samsung NF series comprises of the Samsung NF310, Samsung NF210 and Samsung NF110. All the info available at the moment say that at least one of them has the upcoming dual core Intel Atom N550 chip, DDR3 memory, an HD (1366×768) widescreen display and a pre-installed version of Windows 7. For now, pricing info and exact release dates are unknown, but the press release states that the NF series netbooks will be available in Europe in October and then expanded globally.
