If you're like me who have been wanting to run any flavors of Linux on my Eee PC 1000HE or any other netbook for a long time now, here's a primer that might actually help you pull this one through. Maximum PC is running this Primer on Lighweight Netbook Computing with Linux.
The article rounded-up most of the Linux flavors that we can all use and run on our netbooks and discussed the peculiarities and features of each of these Linux distros. Of course I'm assuming that they have tested all of them to come up with such a comprehensive write-up.
Anyway among the Linux OS they mentioned include – Easy Peasy, Ubuntu Netbook Remix, Crunchbang, EeeBuntu, Xubuntu and among other Linux distros.
If you still can't decide which Linux OS to run on your netbook, you might want to check out Maximum PC's primer first.
