TRENDnet introduces really, really tiny 802.11n WiFi adapter

TEW-648UB_laptopTRENDnet has released a new 802.11n WiFi adapter that the company says is the world's smallest. I'm not even going to pretend I know whether that's true or not, because quite often this type of claim is really hard to prove — or if it is true today it won't be by next week. That said, there's no denying that the TRENDnet TEW-648UB is really tiny. It measures just 1.3 inches in length and seems like a pretty good solution for anyone looking for a low profile WiFi dongle for their laptop or netbook.

Of course a fair number of netbooks ship with 802.11n baked in. But if you're stuck with an 802.11b/g adapter and don't feel like ripping it out and replacing it just so you can connect to your home network with speeds up to 150Mbps, the TEW-648UB could come in handy. It has a list price of $24.99, but the company expects it to sell for closer to $20.
