The lucky guys over at Laptop Mag have, as they put it, finally got their hands on the upcoming netbook from Nokia. In previous articles it's been compared to the MacBook Air and this hands on is no different. It's noted that while the netbook is slim and sleek at 19.99mm it's heavier than expected at 2.6 pounds. Like the MacBook Air, the Nokia Booklet is constructed from a single piece of metal which adds the weight to the netbook but, gives it a beautiful aluminium chassis. Also adding to the weight of the netbook is an impressive 16 cell battery designed in the netbook and not sticking out. This gives the netbook up to 12 hours battery life.
Like most netbooks with glossy lids, unfortunately it picks up finger prints very easily. In the video we see the netbook in Aquamarine blue but, it's also available in white. On the inside it features seamless edge to edge glass display, also found on the MacBook Air. However Laptop Mag feel the display could have been bigger than 10 inches by maker the bezel smaller. It's also the same case with the keyboard, it feels like it could have been bigger and feels more cramped than other keyboards found on 10 inch netbooks.
You can view the video hands on here as embedding is, unfortunately not available.
