New Dual-Screen Netbook Prototype By Kohjinsha

Kohjinsha is raising the bar for gadgeteers everywhere with its all new dual-screen best netbook computer concept displayed at this year's CEATEC. The machine has two 10.1-inch LCDs available in both 1024 x 600 and 1366 x 768 resolutions. If you're in the mood for just one monitor, you can slide the second back to hide it.

The base of the Kohjinsha netbook prototype swivels to some extent. It's powered by an AMD Athlon MV-40, so it's compatible with DirectX 10, and comes with a 2.5-inch SATA HDD, up to 4 GB of RAM, and Windows 7 Premium.

The dual-screen netbook computer weighs under 4 pounds and is still in the prototype phase, so pricing or release dates are unknown for now. Another possible deal breaker is the battery life, which seems unlikely to be more than a few hours considering the hardware it's powering.

Be sure to check out Engadget's video of the netbook prototype here.
