Intel describes ultrabooks as computers with thin cases, speedy processors, and decent performance (among other things). But while Intel doesn't put a lot of limits on screen size or weight, I tend to only pay attention to the ultraportable ultrabooks — which is why most of the models we cover at Liliputing have 14 inch or smaller screens.
Laptops with 15.6 inch displays tend to be big, heavy, and not all that "ultra" in my book. But the Samsung Series 9 might be the exception. I have a 13.3 inch model that weighs less than 2.5 pounds — but Samsung also makes a 15.6 inch model that weighs just 3.6 pounds and measures 0.6 inches thick.
It's about the most portable laptop you can find with a 15.6 inch screen. Unfortunately it usually sells for $1200 and up. But today Adorama is offering a 15.6 inch Series 9 ultrabook for $850. The only thing that gives me pause is that the notebook has a 1600 x 900 pixel display rather than a full 1080p screen.
