Samsung announced that they were focusing on 3G netbooks, but they also told the press about a new slate they are planning. Availability for the new tablet is for the latter part of this year and it will have a 'PC-grade' processor, which probably means 'not Atom' in marketing speak. They do expect it to be pretty geared up since they think it can replace a user's primary PC. Don't current tablet PCs already offer that, though?
As for the OS? Rumor has it that it might have Windows 7, no surprise there. My only wish is that Samsung make this slate tablet as great as their other devices.
