Coby introduces lunch money cheap netbook

In my part of town, Coby is known for making portable DVD players on the cheap. They must have thought, "Hey, a netbook looks like a portable DVD player so why don't we sell one of those?" A stellar idea though the implementation might need a bit of work.

The Coby NBPC722 packs a 624MHz Marvell processor inside a 7" netbook running on 2GB flash and Windows CE. It's not the faster one in the market but at US$85, who's complaining? That's even cheaper than an iPod Nano. If you're one of the folks who tend to use netbooks as glorified cellphones and use them just for instant messaging, email and social networking (or knows someone like that), I'm sure you'll appreciate this device more than I do.
