Testfreaks (great blog name!) has a review of the newly-released Wind12 U230 from MSI. It hasn't even hit shelves yet but they've put the not-a-netbook netbook through its paces. As we've posted before, this is powered by an AMD Athlon CPU so it packs a bit more punch under the hood.
They found that it didn't differ much in pricing versus other netbooks but offered a lot more like a bigger keyboard (51% bigger than even regular keyboard, according to MSI) and a larger trackpad. The AMD, as expected, guzzles up a lot of the battery so don't expect to do an all-nighter at a cafe with this one. It also has too many free stuff installed and in this case, free isn't always better.
Head over to Testfreaks and see the entire review.
