Samsung is adding new devices to its notebook product line in its home country, South Korea. The Series 9 collection will see the release of new 13-inch and 15-inch models running on Intel Core i5 or Core i7.
The 13-inch notebook will likely have the Core i5 CPU alongside 8 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128 GB on its Solid State Disk. Users, however, may opt to have a 256 SSD instead, for a higher price. This processor has an integrated graphics courtesy of Intel GMA HD 3000. However, there is no discrete GPU.
On the other hand, the notebook with a 15-inch display will be equipped with Max Screen. This means that it will have a 14-inch case but has a 15-inch panel. The screen will have be a Super Bright Plus HD one, which gives it a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and brightness of up to 400 nits. Like the 13-incher, users may choose between a 128 or a 256 SSD for this notebook.
The new Series 9 notebooks are expected to sell for 2.28m won, $2,033, or 1,551 Euro for the 13-inch Core i5 model. The 15-inch Core i5, meanwhile, will be priced at 2.32m won, $2,069, or 1,579 Euro. Lastly, the 15-inch, Core i7 model will retail for 2.97m won, $2,648, or 2,020 Euro.
