The Netbook Navigator Nav13X severely looks like an ultrabook. But it isn't. This machine may look like a MacBook Air or Asus Zenbook with all the lightness of 2.9 poundsand 0.6 inches of thinness. This 13.3 incher has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels too.
The big difference however is the pure power of Intel Core i5 or similar processor, the Nab 13X only has 1.86 GHz Intel Atom N2800 as its processor.
The Atom lineup is absolutely no match against the Core i-series. According to Intel's guidelines, an ultrabook should have the powerful chip family rather than the underpowered Atom. Netbook Navigator actually labels this machine as an ultrabook.
This is actually a nice alternative to a typical netbook. This computer is available with a 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB SSD. Also, 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Sadly, users must use a special adapter to use Ethernet or VGA ports, there's a mini-HDMI and 2 USB 2.0 ports though, as well as an SD card slot.
That said, it certainly looks like a nice alternative to a typical netbook. The computer is available with a 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB solid state disk, 2GB or 3GB of RAM, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Prices start at $499.99 for a Nav13X laptop with configuration of 2GB of RAM, a 32GB solid state disk, and no OS.
