LG Unveils the X170 Netbook

With the proliferation of tablet PCs in the market today, and manufacturers trying to beat each other in coming out with the best possible tablet device, is there still a place for new netbooks? Well, LG thinks so, as they just launched a new netbook – the LG X170.

So, what does LG brings in to the gradually dying netbook market? A couple of nice features actually. First, is that the LG X170 netbook will have an optional HD 1366×768 display. And it will also have this so called "SmartPOP" feature which will let you use all the features of the netbook on your smartphone. I'm assuming that it's an LG phone.

Other specs and features of the LG X170 netbook include – Intel Atom N550 processor, 10.1-inch 1366×768 or 1024×600 display, 1GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, Bluetooth 3.0, GMA 3150 graphcis and 6-cell battery.

The LG X170 will be available in pink, blue and ivory design. No release date and pricing details yet.
