Jolicloud to Release its JoliBook Netbook this Month?

This is the first time that we here at EeePC.net will citing popular tech blog – TechCrunch as a source of news about netbooks. If you've been following us, we often cite more gadget-centric sites such as Engadget. Anyway, the news is too juicy not to cover so here we go. According to TechCrunch Jolicloud is preparing to release its own netbook – the JoliBook.

The rumors may seem to be not a rumor at all as Jolicloud has started sending emails to selected users informing them of something that they have been cooking up.  Jolicloud sort of confirms the JoliBook netbook with a planned release day this month. It will run of course Jolicloud 1.1 OS which happens to be an open source version of Google Chrome and will be preloaded with the Chromium web browser. Inside the netbook is a dual-core Atom N550 processor, 1.5GHz clock speed, 250GB HDD, VGA port, and multiple USB sockets. Said netbook will also be capable of playing 720p video.
