Kohjinsha seems to have missed the memo about what a netbook actually is before putting out their new EX6. Sure, it's got an Intel Atom N270, and even the fact that it has an 11.6-inch screen doesn't put it outside netbook territory. Still, the ghastly starting price of $836 and integrated optical drive place this solidly in the weird laptop category.
Talk about the hugest ripoff ever - the Kohjinsha EX6 only gets you a 16 GB hard drive. Features are decent, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 1 GB of RAM, Windows XP and 1366 x 768 pixels on the screen. Ports are also luxurious with 2 USB 2.0s, SDHC and microSD slots, ExpressCard, front and rear cameras, and ethernet included with the package.
I'm not totally sure how I feel about this one, but if you'd like to try it out yourself you can get it from Conics.
