It looks like the 7-inch touchscreen tablet netbook from Suzuki which we told you about the other day is already up for grabs in the Philippines (and possibly other parts of Asia). The Suzuki Neutron 701 MNI tablet netbook, packing a 7.1-inch WSVGA touchscreen TFT LCD, 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, 2GB RAM, 60GB hard drive, other basic netbook specs and a 4-cell battery, is priced 24,000 Pesos or $496 USD from the online store of local computer store PC Gilmore.
At the same time, there's a 10-inch Suzuki netbook available–the Suzuki Neutron 1021 netbook. The specs on this one are pretty standard for a netbook (and pretty outdated if I may say so myself): 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, 10.2-inch WXGA screen built-in webcam, Bluetooth, 3-in-1 card reader, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and a standard 3-cell battery. This one goes for just 18,900 Pesos or $390 USD.
No word on how much 6-cell battery packs cost for each netbook or what operating systems they are going to run out of the box, but I have to say, they look very attractive even in their standard configurations. Check out the links below for their pages on PC Gilmore's online store.
