Child-Friendly Tabeo Tablet for $150

Toy R' Us s sticking its fingers in the tablet bandwagon, but this tablet is aimed at the much younger crowd. Toys R' Us has partnered with Tabeo for a kid's tablet for only $150. For parents who don't want their much more expensive tablets to get into the sticky hands of their children, this could be the answer to their prayers.

Although the Tabeo tablet is just like an entry-level tablet, because of its not so impressive features, it still beats Leapfrog's tablet that has no Wi-Fi capability.

The Tabeo tablet a single-core 1 GHz processor with a native resolution of 800 x 480 pixels on its multi-touch screen. But it is still an Android device that has an expandable memory, front-facing camera and a HDMI output. It is preloaded with 50 apps which are all kid-friendly one less thing that parents have to worry about, and 7000 other apps that are available in the market.

The Tabeo tablet will be hitting the Toys R' Us retail outlets on October 21, 2012 and they will be taking in pre-orders by October 1. This will retail for $149.99, just $10 cheaper than the Kindle Fire.

So for parents who have money to spend, you can buy this for your kids or if you are on a budget, then just go for the Kindle Fire and share it with the family.
