Archos 101 XS With Keyboard Retails for 379.99 Euros

The Archos 101 XS tablet is now available through the company's online shop for 379.99 Euros or 299.99 UKP.

The tablet features a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. This display is protected by the unique Archos Coverboard, which keeps the display safe and serves as a magnetic keyboard dock at the same time.

For French users, the chiclet-style keyboard which comes with the tablet has an AZERTY layout, whereas German users will get a QWERTZ one. Meanwhile, those from other parts of the world will be provided with a QWERTY keyboard. Another distinct feature of the ARCHOS 101 XS tablet is its kickstand which enables users to prop up the device on a flat surface easily.

Its processor is a TI OMAP 4470 CPU while its internal storage size is 16GB. It also has a microSD card slot that supports an SDXC with a storage size of up to 64GB. Wireless connectivity is possible via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Archos also includes a miniHDMI port, a microUSB port. The device also comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with hardly any customizations from Archos. Pre-loaded apps include Gmail, Google Plus, Google Drive, and OfficeSuite Pro 6.

Those in China, however, may pick up the same tablet from Taobao for ¥2285.00 or 2499.00 Yen, which are roughly 300 to 400 in US Dollars.
