Ever heard of the idiomatic expression "hitting two birds with one stone"? Then this might be the best way to describe Novero's newest netbook called the Solana. It is a netbook which you can twist around 180 degrees and then close it with the screen facing outward so it could function like a tablet.
Since the model already passed through FCC, then this will surely be available in the US in the coming months. The processor that keeps this device powered is called the Intel Atom N2600 Cedar Trail. The model has a 9.7-inch panel size with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution display.
One of its distinct features is that it can run both on Windows and Android firmwares. You just have to choose and access your choice of OS by double clicking a designated icon on the desktop.
Its specs include 2 GB of RAM plus 128 GB internal storage. The integrated camera is 3 MP and connectivity is possible through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or HSPA + mobile broadband. Added features comprised of two USB 2.0 ports, and HDMI output as well.
The unit will cost $799 upon its US release.
