Looks like a mobile carrier has finally decided to take the expensive Sony Vaio P netbook. Words on the streets say that Verizon might actually offer the Sony Vaio P under its mobile data plan. If you would recall, Verizon currently has three netbooks under its fold – the Gateway LT2016U, HP Mini 311 and Mini 110.
If this rumor is true, the Sony Vaio P will actually be the smallest netbook under Verizon's line-up.
What is not clear from though is whether the Sony Vaio P which Verizon will offer will be running Windows 7 since the rumored hard drive will be around 160GB. But the Sony Vaio P doesn't have that capacity though.
The Sony Vaio P will be offered by Verizon for around $300 plus a two-year service agreement minus $100 rebate.
Scheduled shipping date will be on November 5.
