AMIMON WDHI Modules to be Available in Netbooks and Laptops in 2010

In the past, AMIMON's WHDI technology has generally been used in more sophisticated and high-end technology, such as HDTV's and Blu-ray players, but now the company has figured out a way to efficiently break into the netbook and laptop markets as well.

WDHI modules in netbooks and laptops will mean that portable computers will be able to wirelessly send and receive high-definition signals from other WDHI-enabled devices.

No specific netbook or laptop manufacturer partners were announced, but these modules are rumored to become available in portable computing technology sometime in 2010.
