Google's first own branded tablet was released into the market a little over a month ago in the US, Canada, UK and Australia. Supply shortly ran out in both the US and the UK of the 16GB version, while the 8GB version remained available to purchase. Google quickly replenished stock though and the 7 inch Jelly Bean powered tablet is due to go on sale in France next month, with other European countries following suit.
French websites Fnac, Darty and Boulanger have the 16GB version of the Nexus 7 tablet up on their website already with a price taf of €249 ($312). It's not possible to pre-order at any of the stores currently. However Fnec accidentally allowed pre-ordering to go ahead and have since removed the ability to do so. Those who got in quick enough to place a pre-order however, their orders will stand.
