Asus already has plans for four new Android tablets – but this doesn't mean they've stopped with their planning. A recent interview with Jerry Shen, the company's CEO reveals that the company has several fun things in store for customers. Namely, an Android tablet with a 3D display, tablets with quad-core CPUs, MeeGo Linux and even more Android netbooks, and Windows Phone 7- based devices.
Shen hinted that the current dual-core chips aren't able to handle smooth HD processing and hopes that a stronger CPU means a smoother 1080p video playback. He also reassures customers that the company will still be producing notebooks and netbooks, even while pushing into the tablet market.
