iGo has decided to bring the new iGo Netbook Charger to 2400 Verizon Wireless stores nationwide, to be sold alongside Verizon's current netbook offerings.
The iGo Netbook Charger can be used in the car, at home, or in a plane. It can be used in virtually any netbook as well. iGo CEO Michael D. Heil explained iGo's decision to connect to the netbook market in this way:
"Verizon Wireless is a driving force in the growth of netbooks and we are pleased to work with them to address the emerging power needs of their netbook customer… Like netbooks, our new chargers are lightweight, making them ultra-portable and convenient for netbook users to bring along with them wherever they go. They are the perfect solution for helping netbook users continue emailing and browsing the Web whether they are staying local or traveling internationally."
The iGo Netbook Charger comes with a USB cable for easy charging of mobile phones, mp3 players, headsets, cameras and more. It is adapted to international voltage requirements as well as in the US, so it should be particularly useful for those planning to travel with their netbooks.
