Amazon is now carrying the MSI Wind U210. This is a 12 inch laptop with an AMD Athlon NEO MV-40 processor and ATI Radeon X1250 graphics. But it's still part of the MSI Wind series of thin and light laptops that includes the popular Wind U100 and U123 10 inch Intel Atom powered netboks.
The Wind U210 has a 1366 x 768 pixel 12.1 inch display and a 6 cell, 5200mAh battery that should provide up to 5 hours of run time. It also ships with 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Windows Vista Home Premium. Unlike most netbooks, this laptop has an HDMI output because it's capable of pumping out high definition video.
The MSI Wind U210 is available from Amazon for $429.99. It comes in black and white
, although only the white model seems to be available right now. Amazon also has a 12.1 inch laptop case in stock designed for the Wind U210. The case runs $25.92
and features a double pouch and memory foam.
For some reason the MSI Wind U200 is still MIA in the US. That model looks pretty much identical to the Wind U210, except it features an Intel CULV processor.
