Wow! Onkyo Japan is on a roll. Aside from the dual-screen netbook it announced today in Japan, Onkyo has also launched a new netbook – this with a 7-inch screen. What? Display too small in this time of 11-12 inch netbooks?
Well, there's a reason for that. The Onkyo NX707A4 has a 7-inch screen because of its built-in GPS module. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to have the Onkyo netbook with a bigger screen plugged inside your cars, right?
Yup, this netbook could very well serve as your GPS navigation device aside from fulfilling it's netbook function.
The Onkyo NX707A4 boasts of Intel Atom Z520 CPU at 1.33GHz clock speed, 80GB of HDD, 1GB RAM, Intel US15W chipset, and all the other standard netbook features.
The GPS netbook will also run Windows 7 Started Edition and will be available in Japan for around $650. And that's happening before this month ends.
