The new browser-based and light-weight operating system from Google which should be released sometime in 2010 aims to inspire awe and amazement in netbook users.
The new Chrome OS, based on Linux and unveiled just a few weeks ago, is aiming to raise the bar and set new standards for netbook operating systems. It is a simple, fast and light system that boots up and lands you head on into a web browser so you can get online as fast as you can.

No Chrome OS systems have yet been released on the market and may not be seen until second half of 2010, but it is definitely on the way. Acer has said they should be amongst the first to release a Chrome OS device.
