Well, it didn't take Asus that long to make the new Eee PC 1001HA available for pre-order at the Amazon UK site. We were just telling you that this netbook's specs have been spotted on the Asus global site.
The Eee PC 1001HA is available for $328. Due to its cheap price, you'd get a decent Eee PC with basic features. These include – 10.1-inch display (1024×600), 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD, 3-cell battery, 0.3 webcam, 3 USB ports and Windows XP (sorry folks no Windows 7 in this one).
Design wise, the Eee PC 1001HA looks like it's sporting a textured lid design. It will be available in black and white color.
Now here's the clincher and could determine whether you would want to get this netbook now – it will ship within 3 months upon order. Now that's too long to wait.
