With the release of Windows 7 just upon us all, netbook brands are starting to jump into the bandwagon with each of them starting to announce their upcoming Windows 7 netbooks. Interestingly, Asus seems to be not on the forefront of the Windows 7 craze just yet.
But that doesn't mean that the company is not keen on getting into the Windows 7 craze. In fact they are, as evidenced by a leaked roadmap of the company's upcoming Eee PCs loaded with the said new Microsoft OS.
From what we can see from the roadmap, there seems to be three more Eee PC Seashells coming out – Eee PC 1005HA, 1008HA and 1101HA.
Some information about this Windows 7 Eee PCs are as follow:
The Eee PC 1005HA will have 1GB of RAM, 250GB of HDD and Intel Atom N270. It will be available in two variants – the 1005HA-H with Bluetooth and 10.5 hours battery life and the 1005HA-M with Bluetooth and 8.5 hours battery life.
The Eee PC 1008HA will have 1GB of RAM, 250GB of HDD, Intel Atom N280 and 6 hour battery life.
And the Eee PC 1101HA will have an 11.6-inch display, 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 260GB of HDD.
So, it looks like it's going to be another exciting netbook market once again.
