Netbook Reviews is running a full hands-on feature of the upcoming Eee Box EB1501 – now with the monicker "the world's smallest, and first VESA-mountable PC with an internal optical drive.

The Eee Box EB1501 is loaded with a slim, slot feed DVD burner, NVIDIA Ion graphics, dual core Intel Atom 330 CPU and supports HD display capability.  It also features a 2GB of RAM, 250GB of HDD, Windows 7 Premium, 6 USB ports, multicard reader, HDMI and VGA output, Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet.

The Eee Box is capable displaying HD video at a low processor usage of only around 14%. That will give you pretty much several hours to complete two movies on one run I guess.

Another interesting feature of the Eee Box EB1501 is that it comes with a desk stand and VESA bracket that will allow users to mount the nettop at the back of their HDTVs or LCD Monitors.

The Asus Eee Box EB1501 will be available with Windows 7 Home Premium for around £339.

And here's a short video demo of the Eee Box EB1501 running in full circles.
