Before you start blaming Asus' desicion to redesign its Eee Keyboard recently as the culprit why its release is delayed again, stop. According to Digitimes, that is not the reason why the Eee Keyboard won't be reaching the market in time for the holiday season but will have to wait until 2010.
The reason? Well, the original version of the Eee Keyboard didn't make it through some wireless testing regulation.
The good news is – once it comes out in 2010, perhaps during CES 2010 we might be looking at a better Eee Keyboard. That's the bottom line of it all. What's the point of rushing a gadget when you know that it will just conk out on users easily?
So, let's all start looking forward to 2010 then.
