Sony implies that the Vaio X is thin enough to slice you in half - Video

vaio x vid

I'm not entirely sure how an ad comparing a notebook to a sword is supposed to sell laptops, but I guess Sony wants you to know that the upcoming Sony Vaio X is thin. Really thin. Like 0.55 inches thin. We also already knew that it would weigh about 1.5 pounds, thanks to a light weight carbon fiber chassis, but Sony's new promo video describes the laptop as having a "weightless feel." Anyone want to call false advertising on this? Last time I checked, 1.5 pounds wasn't weightless, and until I start to see laptops floating in air, I'm not going to start calling them weightless.

OK, now that I've got all of that off my chest, you can check out the new promo video for the Sony Vaio X after the break.
