Slim XZX Netbook Tries Hard to Become a MacBook Air, But Ends Up Like an Eee PC 1008HA

Pink-mac-air1

Sorry for the long title of this post, folks. But I just couldn't help it since the XZX netbook from China really has a thin form factor which stood at .93mm. It may not be the thinnest notebook or netbook around but  it is still thin.

Anyway, while it could be a dead ringer for a MacBook Air, we couldn't help but notice its striking resemblance to the Eee PC 1008HA. And besides with its 11.1 inch display and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, GMA 950 graphics, 1GB of RAM and 160GB of HDD – there is no mistaking that the XZX is indeed a netbook. Hence it is more appropriate to compare it with the Eee PC 1008HA.

This netbook is also relatively light weight at 2.4 lbs. It has only 2 USB ports and a non-removable battery. Something which we should expect for a slim netbook. The XZX touchpad features a right and left buttons and comes with a mini display port.

Best feature of course is the netbook's color – a not so shining pink. The XZX could go for around $300.
