Netbook keyboards can be a bummer for those of us with hands larger than those of 8-year-old girls, though a few manufacturers have done an alright job of alleviating our pain. Microsoft doesn't quite agree, however, and has introduced to that end the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000.
It is about as thick as a AAA battery, and looks pretty light. That's plenty vague, but Microsoft hasn't released info on the weight just yet so we'll have to roll with it.
Chris Kujawski, industrial designer at Microsoft Hardware, explained why he thinks the BMK 6000 is going to rock:
"The design tenets of compact, clean and refined really set the stage for the success of the keyboard… There is nothing extraneous about the design."
The design he's referring to is the Microsoft Comfort Curve, which in my experience is simply difficult to adapt to. If you disagree with me, that's quite alright – the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard will be in stores next month for $90, with the number pad sold separately for $45.
