We've heard facts and rumors about the Intel Pineview chipset that's set to be released soon, but Intel may be planning to release yet another chipset, the Intel Atom N470.
The Intel Atom N470 would be a higher-end Atom chipset, but would still be a single-core chip. It would run at 1.83 GHz and be able to integrate graphics and memory control functions, allowing it to be relatively more power efficient than a solution of two chipsets with separated functions.
But for those that would rather pair an Intel Atom processor with a non-Intel graphics chipset like the Nvidia Ion, this may be a tad bit problematic.
