I have to say, Asus has the strangest ways of accidentally announcing upcoming products. The company hasn't officially announced the 12 inch Eee PC 1201N with NVIDIA ION graphics yet, but it showed up on a Chinese retail web site the other day. Today European stores began listing the Eee PC 1001HA which appears to be a special edition Eee PC 1005HA. And just now I noticed drivers on the Asus support page for an Eee PC T91MT.
If the leaked product roadmap that hit the web last month (and a demo unit spotted at Computex this summer) are anything to go by, the MT stands for multitouch, which means this version of the convertible tablet style netbook will probably be released in late October or early November after Windows 7 is launched. And it will probably run Windows 7 Home Premium, since Windows 7 Starter doesn't include all the multitouch features found in Home Premium.
The only download available for the Eee PC T91MT right now is a BIOS file. There's nothing really juicy like a user manual yet. But if you're waiting for this updated model with baited breath, you might want to bookmark the support page.
