Dospara Prime Note Critea MR7 Notebook PC Hits Japanese Market

The popular laptop manufacturer from Japan, Dospara is up to bring an added family member to its Prime Note family. Recently, the company has released it's 15.6-inch notebook PC codenamed as Prime Note Critea MR7. Aimed to be sold to business users, the laptop has Intel processors and NVIDIA graphics card.

The Prime Note Critea MR7, however, only has 3 hours of battery life upon continuous usage. But it is equipped with an Intel CPU, the Celeron B815 Mobile Processor with 1.60 GHz dual-core chips. Also, a 2 MB L3 cache supports the Intel HM76 Express Chipset Mobile plus outfitted with highly capable NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 2 GB graphics card.

The Dospara Prime Note Critea MR7 laptop has a 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution Full High Definition display along with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM plus an integrated 329 GB hard drive. A DVD Super Multi Drive is also found onboard together with the Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.

The Prime Note Critea MR7 notebook PC is available in the Japanese market for 54,980 Yen or about $692.

ASUS Padfone Now Up in the US

A whopping $800 for a mobile phone docked in a tablet, this is what ASUS Padfone costs. It is already available in the US, through Negri Electronics. The Padfone made its first appearance in Taipei during Computex.

Instead of buying a separate tablet, mobile phone and notebook computer to store various files and media, ASUS banked on the idea in making the Padfone. The tablet could to be used for applications that require a bigger screen, as a charging dock for the smartphone or to extend its battery life.

The phone has the following specs: 4.3- inch, 960 x 540 pixels Super AMOLED display, a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor plus a 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB to 64 GB of storage. It runs on Google Android 4.0 Operating System. It is as well sports an 8MP rear camera and a front-facing VGA built-in cam.

The Padfone also ships with keyboard dock, to give your tablet that feeling of using an Android netbook. But the Asus Padfone being sold in the grey market doesn't have this. So you might think twice in shelling out that kind of money, because not all of the peripherals are included even the Bluetooth headset is not.

There is no word yet when this gadget will be officially released.

Android Book is A MacBook Air Look Alike

Consumers who like the look of a Macbook Air but don't appreciate its expensive price tag may still have hope. At Computex in Taipei, a Macbook Air clone called the Android Book was recently spotted.

Obviously, from its name, this device not running OS X, but has Android OS, more specifically Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Judging from its appearance, it is a pretty convincing dupe of the MacBook Air, even replicating the Apple device's brushed aluminum lid and the magnetic connector. Even its display has the exact same measurement as the MacBook Air, which is 13.3 inches diagonally.

Apart from the OS, however, its other features are very different from the ones on the original notebook. Inside, this device is packed with a 1.2 GHz A10 processor. Users may choose from among three solid state disk capacities for the internal storage: 8, 16, or 32 GB.

This Macbook Air lookalike will hit the market for $149. Of course, for those who prefer Microsoft to Android, there is also a Windows version available. This device, for its part, runs on an Intel Cedar Trail N2600 or N2800 processor, possesses internal storage with a capacity of 16 GB to 128 GB, and will retail at the higher price of $175.

For those who want a Macbook Air dupe, it is probably best to order one now since Apple will soon likely get a court order that will remove these off the shelves.

Kogan Offers Budget 10″ Android 4.0 Tablet

Even there are lots of tablets surrounding the slate market now and then by most Asian makers, it's good to know that there are still other continental manufacturers including Europe and Australia that are keen in giving competitive tablet PCs.

One of them is Kogan, an Australia-based company that recently unleashed a 10-incher tablet named as Agora. It features the latest Android platform so far, the Ice Cream Sandwich OS while supporting a fair pixel resolution of 1024 x 768.

The tablet runs on a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash storage plus a microSD card slot for memory expansion. A 16 version of Agora is as well available.

Added features include HDMI ouput, 2 MP camera at rear and US 2.0 port. The Agora somehow packs decent specs for a lower price of $176. But unfortunately, the tablet's shipment to start on June 25th will be exclusively available only in Australia.

CZC U116T Ultrabook with Detachable Keyboard Coming to Computex 2012

This era makes ultrabooks known better. With the appearance of different slimmer notebook PCs these past few months, it's a big proof then how these ultrabooks had empowered the tech lives of many.
